We are looking to kick the season off on Saturday, May 11. Players should show up to the ceremonies between 10:00am and 10:15 in full uniform (some teams will receive their uniforms [shirt and hat] at the ceremony). You will assemble with your team in the designated areas that will be marked on the fence line. Extra Parking is available across O'Malley in the Greek Orthodox Church with a designated crosswalk.
To host a successful picnic we are asking the individual divisions to provide the following:

MINORS/SENIORS BASEBALL - Pack of Hot Dogs and Buns
MAJORS/INTERMEDIATE BASEBALL - Pack of Frozen Burgers and Buns
TEE BASEBALL - Dessert or fruit
Drop your items off at the snack shack on your way to the opening ceremonies.

11:00 - Opening and Team Announcements
12:00 - First Pitch and National Anthem
Immediately following - AOR Picnic
*Will games will be held on Opening day this year? The snow is melting fast but we will have to determine if the infields are too soft to prepare the dirt or firm enough to play safely with field preservation in mind. Instructions on how to help us get ready for our first games will be provided following the Ceremony. Please volunteer. We can't do this without you! It will take approximately 6 people per field.
Volunteer:
*Help receive and organize food at the snack shack from 10-11 - meet Kristi at the Snack Shack
*Help serve food from 12:15-1:30(ish)
*Used Gear swap and Sale - meet near the connexes in the SW portion of the park.
*Learn to scorekeep - meet our volunteers at the Softball (Seifke field) bleachers immediately following the ceremony
*Learn what it will take to prep the infields for our first games! - Meet at the Black field bleachers immediately following the ceremony. Learn about the ways we will till, haul special infield dirt, rake, compact, edge, survey and mark baselines. Sign up to help prep the Harmon (t-ball and machine pitch) field in the coming week too!
